SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR VERY LATE REGISTRATION

Posted Feb. 6: We are still taking new registrations for all conference events and workshops. At this late date, please use our easy online registration form to register and either:

(1) pay online using a credit card or
(2) bring a check to pay at the door.

For questions, please contact Troy Scott Parker at 303-530-1785 or .

You can also register and pay at the door (checks and cash only), but if you know for sure that you're coming, we'd really appreciate knowing in advance so that we can plan for your arrival.

All prices are al a carte, i.e. you can attend workshops without attending the WTBA Trailbuilders Conference, or vice versa. Of course, you can also attend both the WTBA Conference and the workshop(s) of your choice.

Reduced rates for early registration end January 24, 2003. Late registrations will be taken until four days before an event.

Please note that you must register in advance for the Wednesday evening banquet—no banquet admissions will be possible at the door.

Most lunches are included in registration
Registrations for all workshops (except TrailWare) include lunches for each full day of the workshop.

For the WTBA conference on Feb. 11-13, lunches on Feb. 12 and 13 are included in registration. The Wednesday night banquet on Feb. 12, however, is optional and you can sign up for it during registration.

Per diem payments for the Wednesday night banquet
If you're on per diem, you can pay for the Wednesday night banquet separately with a personal check (easier) or personal credit card. All banquet tickets must be prepaid — no at-the-door sales.

Refunds
Full refunds of your registration fee will be available until February 4, 2003. After February 4, WTBA will refund all but $60.

Register by any of three ways

The different options have different advantages. Credit cards can only be used with Online Registration:

PDF Registration Form snail-mailed with check

Download the registration form in PDF format, fill it in by hand, and snail-mail it with your check.

One or several persons can register on the same form and pay with the same check. Sorry, no credit cards with this method.

This is your best registration method if you need to make a hardcopy of your completed registration.

WTBA members, trade show vendors, and instructors/staff of partner organizations should use this method.

Online Registration followed by snail-mailed check

Fill out a form online, then put a check in the US Mail.

For groups, please register each person separately but pay for all with a single check.

This is the fastest and easiest way to register.

Online Registration using credit card

Register online and pay with any credit card including Discover and AmEx.

For groups, please register each person separately but pay for all together.

We use PayPal.com for credit card transactions. PayPal is a well-established service (now owned by eBay) with tens of millions of users worldwide, but it requires many more steps than a typical web shopping cart. Built-in credit card fraud detection systems complicate it somewhat if you're using a government or company card. More on successfully using PayPal.

If you're looking to save time, it's faster to write a check than to use PayPal.

Paying separately from registration, purchase orders, and other payment variances
We can be flexible. We will also reluctantly process purchase orders and other government payment systems, but we prefer that you use Online Registration and pay with a credit card instead.

If your payment is not in the same envelope as your registration form, PLEASE CLEARLY IDENTIFY THE PERSON(S) FOR WHOM YOUR CHECK IS PAYMENT.

If you need something else or have any questions, please contact Troy Scott Parker at or 303-530-1785.

Mailing address for all payments is:

    WTBA Conference
    10585 Saxon Way
    Truckee, CA 96161-1152

Also, please enclose any comments or suggestions you may have, or email .
Thanks for attending the 2003 Trailbuilders Conference, and we’ll see you there.
