Outdoor Equipment Demonstration/Tryout Area
The site—a future parking lot at the edge of the hotel's existing asphalt parking lot—is partly surfaced in asphalt grindings (base) and partly in disturbed soil. Because this is an active construction site, it may be reconfigured before the Trade Show, but it will not be paved until after the conference.

Next to the existing paved hotel parking lot, asphalt grindings have been spread. This is easier to work in than actual soil since it doesn't get muddy. Equipment and people will also stay cleaner. The mound seen at left has been spread and the area grade staked, but the soil in the photo below is still available. The buildings in the background are part of a shopping center including an Outback Steakhouse.

Past the edge of the asphalt grindings (seen at right), bare soil is available.
