Between late Sunday, March 10 and early Monday, March 11, 2002, 5 pieces of equipment were stolen from the EBMUD Ranger Facility in Valley Springs, CA. The stolen white Ford F600 Dump Truck and a black 2-axle trailer used to transport the other stolen equipment were found near Winton Road in West Point, CA on Tuesday, March 12.
