Invitation for Bid
Seeking Bids from Experienced Mountain Bike Trail Contractors
White County is seeking bids from experienced trail contractors for trail construction of mountain bike optimized, non-motorized, shared-use trails in the Yonah Preserve located in Cleveland, GA. The scope of work included in this project is for approximately 3.3 miles of beginner difficulty, singletrack trail construction. There is a mandatory pre bid meeting and site visit tentatively scheduled for May 31st, 2017. If you would like a bid package for the trail RFQ or more information please send an email to: Steve.Kasacek@imba.com. The phrase “Yonah Preserve Phase 2 RFQ” must be included in the email subject line. Emails without this subject line will not be answered. Phone calls or emails to anyone except the listed representative will not be answered.
Bid packages will be distributed electronically, please make sure you include your email address and all contact information in your response. The interested party emailing for information will be the listed point of contact for your firm, bid packages and all emails regarding the RFQ will only be sent to the point of contact for the duration of the project. The tentative deadline for bid submission is June 14th, 2017. All bids must be submitted electronically to Steve.Kasacek@imba.com, as one PDF, under 8MB in size.
The project funding is provided by the Federal Department of Highway Administration’s Recreational Trails Program via the Georgia Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. The Recreation Trails Program is funded by gas tax receipts from off-highway vehicles. Minority owned and DMB certified businesses are encouraged to apply.
