Independence Trail Trestles Reconstruction
California Dept. of Parks & Recreation

Reconstruction of a historic mining flume near Nevada City. The gentle grade of the flume made it ideally suited for an accessible trail. We built the timber trestles while state park crews and volunteers performed the soil tread work.
