Below is a list of projects that have been submitted to the PTBA for bid. Please respond directly to the listing agency for further information or to submit your bid. The PTBA has no control or input into the contracting or solicitation of these projects. We list them strictly as a service to the trail industry.
Trail Planning in WV
Project to develop a four property Fayette County based detailed trail plan that can be used to initiate a funding and grant strategy.
Design Build-Atwood Park Silent Sports-Phase 2
1) A minimum 2-3 miles of multi-use single track in the East Expert Zone
2) The multi-use beginner loop south of the river
3) Development of multi-use return trails between the East Expert Zone, quarry, and Trailhead Zone
4) Development of downhill flow trails within the Trailhead Zone
Rocky Branch Park Improvements - North Carolina
The Green Zone and Blue Zone Trails are the second and third phases of a multi-phased plan outlined in the Rocky Branch Trail Enhancement Plan.

Construction of Phase 1 - 0.65 miles of multi-use trail
Pole Mountain Trail Construction (WY)
±10,200’ of new, natural surface, non-motorized trail on the Pole Mountain Unit of the Medicine Bow National Forest east of Laramie, Wyoming.
Switchback Construction and ~1000' of Trail construction (OH)
Approximately 1000 feet of new natural surface trail that includes approximately 4 switchbacks will need to be designed constructed by the vendor.
La Junta Bridge Replacement (NM)
The contract shall be for the construction of a 44 ft trail bridge over the Red
River near the confluence of the Rio Grande River.
Project Title: Sunriver Trail Kiosk Project
This RFP is for the construction of the three two-panel kiosks, The kiosks will be constructed out of wood posts, columns and plywood boards, and follow a similar design as the kiosk located at the Phil’s Trails parking area near Bend, Oregon.
Oregon Timber Trail Alliance - Natural Surface Trail Construction and Rehabilitation
The purpose of this RFQ is twofold:
1) Find a suitable contractor to execute a portion of the Watson Fire Rehab project in Lake County Oregon, funded by a Recreational Trails Program (RTP) grant. Note: this is the only project under consideration in the near term.
2) Identify a list of qualified professional trail builders to be considered for future OTTA trail construction projects.
NPR Downhill Bike Trail Extension Design and Build
Design and construction of one (1) intermediate mountain bike directional flow trail on Emerald Mountain in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
2020 MAAH DAAH HEY- Sully Creek Surfacing
Project Description: restore tread and surface approximately two miles of the MDH trail in the Sully Creek Campround area south of Medora, ND
Settlers Bay Coastal Bike Park Design
The Matanuska-Susitna Borough (Borough) intends to hire a contractor for design of Bike Park within the Settlers Bay Coastal Park near Wasilla, AK.
