Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Job Description: We are now looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our trail building team! This just might be your dream job if you have a passion for giving back to the mountain biking community and would enjoy being part of a team that creates awesome new trails. This position is a full-time, salaried exempt position. The best thing about our Build Team is that we’re a fun-loving bunch, motivated to constantly improve.
A day in the life of a Senior Project Manager looks like this:
Work closely with the Director of Trail Solutions and the Associate Director of Field Operations
Report, estimate, and budget projects for Trail Solutions
Supervise staff within consulting/contracting program(s)
Coordinate with other staff during trail development
Respond to inquiries regarding consulting and construction services
Manage your workflow for on-time deliverables
Maintain flexiblity and adaptability with many personality types

You have:
Experience with estimating construction projects
Experience in report writing for project proposals, conceptual plans and grant reporting
B.A/B.S. degree in related field (e.g., construction management, engineering, landscaping, resource management, urban planning) or similar combination of experience and education
Skill using office-based software systems (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Skill using consulting/contracting-specific software systems (e.g., GIS, MS Project)
Strong written and verbal communication
Bonus haves:
Experience working in a not-for-profit business environment and with volunteer advocates
Trail building experience
IMBA membership
The love for mountain biking!!

While this position has the potential to be based anywhere, there is a very strong desire for it to be in Boulder in order to create a strong connection with IMBA overall. The successful candidate will be passionate about mountain biking, believe strongly in IMBA’s mission, and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
