MORATA has received approval to construct a number of trails and we are looking for a project manager (PM) to manage our project from start to finish. All trail construction must be completed in 2 summers (trail completion to be complete no later than September 30th, 2025). The PM will be responsible for providing services to meet the deliverables as outlined in 2.0 Scope of Work of the RFP.

Construction of Multi-Use Trail in TX

Approximately 20-25 miles of natural and improved surface trails which will include both bicycle and hiking uses, are proposed. The primary purpose of which is to provide an excellent outdoor experience for visitors with a range of abilities. The Project also includes design, procurement and installation of Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer (FRP) or similar, bridges as a part of the trail system.

Construction of MTB and Hiking Trails in MN

Construction of approximately 7.5 miles of beginner to intermediate level mountain bike trails conforming to International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) design guidelines and standards. 
2. Construction of approximately 2.5 miles of pedestrian hiking trails conforming to Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (MnDNR) Trail Planning, Design, and Development Guidelines and US Forest Service (USFS) Outdoor Recreation Accessibility Guidelines.

Hiking Trail: La Verkin Rim to River Project in Utah

Requesting bids for approx. 350' hiking only trail descending from the Virgin River canyon rim to canyon floor approx. 150' below in LaVerkin, Utah. Dark, basalt rock forms canyon rim and abundant fissured basalt rocks litter slopes below. Looking to use this native material to build a combination of trail tread and steps although open to other options.

Trail Clearing in Bitterroot National Forest in MT

Bitterroot Backcountry Cyclists (BBC) is partnering with the USDA Forest Service to complete trail clearing on the Bitterroot National Forest (BNF). BBC is currently accepting bids for a service contract for Trail Opening on approximately 120 miles of trails throughout the Montana portion of the BNF, outside of designated Wilderness areas.

Bear Creek National Recreation Trail Reconstruction

Seeking partners to implement reconstruction of the Bear Creek National Recreation Trail on the Ouray Ranger District. This project prioritizes the protection of natural resources, mitigation of safety hazards, and keeping trail users on the trail. The cope of work focuses on constructing new retaining walls, maintaining and restoring failed retaining walls, installing or hardening shallow stream ford and gully crossings, replacing the railings on pedestrian timber trail bridge, and improving drainage.

Trail Rebuild and Site Improvements in MI

This project consists of site improvements to the Iargo Springs Interpretive Site. The existing vault toilet buildings will be removed and replaced. The existing information kiosk will be removed and replaced with new interpretive signage panels. The existing wood stair, from the upper parking area to the lower boardwalk, will be removed and replaced. The upper observation overlook decking will be removed and replaced. Select areas of the lower boardwalk will also be removed and replaced with at grade pathways, and new elevated boardwalk loops will be constructed across Cooke Dam Pond.

Biking & Hiking Trail Construction in Minnesota

Approximately eight miles of mountain bike trails and three miles of pedestrian hiking trails are proposed to be constructed in 2024 season. Mountain bike trail features will include a jump line trail, rock gardens, rock drops, and embankment turns. A pedestrian hiking trail system will be integrated around the perimeter of the mountain bike trail system with several smaller looped trails within the east and west segments of the site.

Project Title: Upper Let’m Roll – Red Grade Trails

Project Description: The Sheridan Community Land Trust (SCLT) in Sheridan, Wyoming is requesting proposals for the construction of 8,700 +/- linear feet of non-motorized, multi-use, 24” – 36” natural surface trail as part of the Red Grade Trails System. 2,200 +/- linear feet of the total has been roughed in while the remaining 6,500 +/- linear feet has only been flagged. Once built the expectation is that the trail will be used as a downhill bike route. The concept of work is to start and progress without interruption until the mileage under this proposal is complete. The project construction will be supervised by the SCLT. The project will be on Bureau of Land Management land west of Big Horn, Wyoming.

Three Rivers Land Trust is seeking the services of a qualified professional firm to construct a 2,001-foot universal access trail at Sanford Community Forest in Sanford, ME, according to prepared engineering specifications. Trail trail passes through a young forest to a meadow where programming is planned. The average grade is just under one percent and the maximum grade is 5.75%. A thirty-foot puncheon is planned.
