Job Title: Trail Solutions Senior Project Manager

Job Description: The International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA)is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our IMBA Trail Solutions team! SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with Trail Solutions Director of Planning and Design, and Director of Construction and Operation
Develop and manage project budgets.
Lead planning and design projects with strategic vision and critical decision making
Manage and coordinate work projects with IMBA staff including project scope and priority
Coordinate with other staff during trail planning, design, and development
Respond to inquiries regarding consulting and construction services
Manage your workflow for on-time deliverables
Maintain flexibility and adaptability with many personality types
Manage project milestones, timelines, and budget
Manage and coordinate of the project lifecycle including communications with clients and stakeholders, update schedules, gather any missing or additional information or resources
Champion identification and elimination of project roadblocks that may arise throughout project life-cycle
Act as a catalyst to resolve project issues and escalate when necessary
Meet the performance goals established by IMBA’s leadership
Attend required company and departmental meetings
Other duties as assigned

Experience:
Experience in developing project proposals and master plan document writing
Six (6) to eight (8) years of professional planning experience related to recreation based projects.
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in an appropriate field of Landscape Architecture, Planning, Civil Engineering, or similar
Skill using assessment, planning, and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ArcMap, SketchUp)
Skill using office-based software (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Skill using graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud)
Skill using consulting/contracting-specific software systems
Ability to function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced team
Self-starter with the ability to perform with little or no direct supervision
Fully functional home office with hi-speed internet connectivity in a quiet setting required
The Ability to Travel 50% of the time (you will travel this much on a regular basis)
Mountain Biking Experience
