Project Title: WVU RFP - Kanawha State Forest Outdoor Recreation Opportunity Assessment and Vision
Short Description (25-30 words): West Virginia University on behalf of its Board of Governors (“BOG”) located in Morgantown, West Virginia (“WVU” or “University”) is initiating this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) to solicit proposals from qualified firms or individuals (“Proposers”) for: A qualified team to provide trail and trail facility planning services at Kanawha State Forest. The anticipated work includes assessment of the current trails, associated support facilities, and potential opportunities for trail improvements and additions. The objective is a guidance document that lays out a trail based outdoor recreation and management and development strategy for the next decade. Work is expected to be completed by September 2026.
