Have a trail project coming up? PTBA can share your Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Qualifications (RFQ), or other project solicitation directly with PTBA member companies and post it on our Trail Projects for Bid page.

This is a free service provided by PTBA to connect project owners with professional trail companies. Solicitations are typically posted within 2–3 business days.

PTBA Membership in Project Solicitations

Many trail project RFPs and RFQs include “PTBA member or equivalent” as a contractor qualification. PTBA membership involves a rigorous peer-review process, including verification of professional experience, project references, and review by existing member companies. This provides contracting entities with an established benchmark for evaluating trail contractor qualifications.

Verifying Membership: All companies listed in the PTBA member directory or interactive map are members in good standing. Member companies can also provide a Certificate of Good Standing as documentation.
