Short Description (25-30 words): This project is the first implementation of a trails plan within the national park, Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. It will entail the restoration and new construction of a 4.8 mile existing natural surface pedestrian trail system located within the Island Ford park unit. Trail builders will work directly with Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy and the National Park Service.
