Below is a list of projects that have been submitted to the PTBA for bid. Please respond directly to the listing agency for further information or to submit your bid. The PTBA has no control or input into the contracting or solicitation of these projects. We list them strictly as a service to the trail industry.
Echo Hill Outdoor School, MD
Repair of existing boardwalk that is .3 miles long. Build additional boardwalk about .3 miles long and ending with an elevated platform 15 ft high and able to fit approximately 15 people at a time.

Mountain Bike Trail Project
Central Oregon Trail Alliance-Crook County Chapter
This project is for 3-4 mountain biking skills PODS that will flow along side a single track MTB trail. The bid is not for the trail itself. These pods will consist of natural material, wood features, and metal ideally. They will likely need some engineering. Each pod should have its own bid attached.
City of Florence (SC) High Creek Ride/Run Park
~3 miles of single track trail construction for bike/run trail
Friends of Lindenwald Hazard Tree Removal
The Friends of Lindenwald, located in Kinderhook, NY has received a grant from The NYS Greenway Foundation to remove hazard trees along its trail system.
Climbing Association of Southern Arizona (CASA) Recreational Trails Program (RTP) 2019/2020 Project Management
The contractor will provide on site and field management of CASA’s 2019-2020 Recreation
Trails Program Grant (RTP).
USDA Forest Service Southern Region Disaster Recovery Support BPA
Trails and the ability to do work to help in the recovery of trails after an event such as a fire is included.
Development of the Trail of Tears National Historic Trail at Blythe Ferry
The services will involve: the construction of an approximately .28 mile retracement trail following the historic alignment of the Trail of Tears NHT that is compatible with the NHT and non-intrusive to the surrounding natural environment, and the construction of two interpretive nodes at the beginning and end of the trail.
Northwest Lancaster County River Trail-Enola Low Grade Trail Gap Study
Project Description: Proposals are being accepted for preparation of study to assess the feasibility of constructing a trail connecting the Northwest Lancaster County River Trail with the Enola Low Grade Trail in Manor Township, PA.
Natural Trail Repairs - Forsyth County, GA
For providing all materials, equipment and labor for the construction and repair of natural trails on an Annual Contractor with two (2) options to renew. Preference is for firms are to be members in good standing with “Professional Trail Builders Association (PTBA

Design/build of a Mountain Bike Skills Wheel Park to be located at Dove Valley Regional Park (DVRP); located in a 3.77 acre (164,189 SF) area within the Park
Pincushion Reroute, Minnesota
Project Description: Construct approximately 2.5 miles of new hiking trail
Carson City 5th Street Trails Project
Repair, realignment, and construction of the non-motorized trail system adjacent to the 5th Street Trailhead on the Prison Hill Recreation Area.
Town of Pagosa Springs - Reservoir HIll Phase 2B
The Owner seeks to design, layout and construct .7 miles (4,000 linear ft +/-) of new single-track trails on reservoir hill in Pagosa springs, Colorado.
BPA Lane-Wendson
Project Description: Project is for Trail access from Oregon State Highway 126 up to BPA transmission line towers for future maintenance. Project includes 2 separate trails, 2 Wood bridges with hand rails, and 7 switchback landings.
Nature Loop Bridge and Boardwalk Replacement
The Nature Loop Repair and Enhancement project is located within the Tahoe Donner Association property, within the Trout Creek Watershed. A three 2.5 mile loop is slated for complete rehabilitation and repair in the late summer of 2019.
