Job Title: Part-Time Survey Internship HP
Job Description: Program Model: Part-time intern cohorts (teams of 2) will be on call to conduct surveys for up to 2-weekdays and 2-weekend days / month from October – April. SCA will hire up to 16 individuals to attend a one-day training at the end of September, led by IEc, to have a pool of folks that are qualified and interested to opt in when major rain events occur.
Training – Mandatory 1 day paid training to occur on 9/27 will consist of 1 full day (2 hours in an office setting with the rest of the day to visit sites to collect data).
Survey Work Description – When on assignment – Each pair of interns will be expected to travel to 3 sites / day to conduct the surveys, spending about 2 hours at each site. Within the pair – 1 intern will be conducting visitor counts and the other intern will be conducting interviews with the public – 30-60 seconds (what sort of activities are you doing? What's your zip code? etc.).
Compensation:
$25 / hour. This assumes 8 hours / day for up to 4 days / month for the duration of the program for all participants. The partner, IEc, will also reimburse travel related expenses (mileage reimbursement, ride shares, or public transportation) directly to participants.
