PTBA has drafted these recommendations as a resource to the trails community. Recommendations include an Introduction, Basic Infection Prevention Measures, Work-Site Best Practices, and Equipment Best Practices (online and as a downloadable PDF). PTBA believes that utilizing best practices in maintaining a safe and hygienic work site can minimize the potential of exposure to COVID-19 for crew member and members of the general public.

PTBA has drafted abbreviated recommendations for posting at worksites. There are two versions - one is customizable to indicate requirements in your area for distance required for social distancing and mask wearing. These recommendations are just abbreviated - please review the full recommendations as well.

PTBA conducted a survey of PTBA Member Companies during this unprecedented time to assess the impact of COVID-19 on the trail industry. Based on the responses collected in April, we project the following impact to PTBA Member Companies (114 companies).

While PTBA Members are a subset of the trail industry, we believe that this survey provides insight into the impact on the broader trail industry.
