Job Title: Trail Project Coordinator
Job Description: The Vermont Youth Conservation Corps (VYCC) is seeking a full-time Trail Project Coordinator (TPC) who is passionate about engaging young people in hands-on projects that improve and expand access to recreation. A successful candidate is a trail builder, teacher, problem-solver, and is excited about growing themselves in the field of conservation. Practicing sustainable trail design and construction techniques, the TPC trains Corps Members to carry out multi-week projects. The TPC takes pride in their work and is key in ensuring trail projects are completed to a high degree of quality and match partner expectations. Using time management skills and resourcefulness, the TPC will coordinate multiple projects while supporting crews throughout the season. This position works closely within the Conservation Team and is confident with moving independent assignments forward. The Conservation Trails Project Coordinator is an integral part of a highly motivated group who makes a lasting impact in the community, the land, and the lives of young people.
